Facilities

At the campsite, ehind the terrace is a paddling pool free for use for our campsite guests. We have a playground for the children and a playingfield for the adults. In the bar you’ll find a pool table and a table football game.

Food to enjoy

At the campsite is a terrace bar. The bar has a small menu card for breakfast and lunch. During high season we organise a barbecue and chicken piri-piri night, every week. There are two good restaurants nearby where you can have a full, multi-course meal for a reasonable price.  For your daily shopping, you can use the mini-mercado behind the campsite, or you can go to Oliveira do Hospital (15 kilometres), to one of the bigger supermarkets Lidl, Intermarché, Mini-Preço or the local IG.

Barbecuing is prohibited during the summer because of the imminent danger of forest fires.

indoor BBQBut, we have a unique inside barbecue in the Cozinha (kitchen). The Portuguese are keen users and can teach you the tricks of the trade! Large pieces of meat, tasty meat and vegetable skewers, sardines…. it is all roasting on the barbecue! This kitchen is open for use for all our guests at the campsite.

Toilet buildings

There are two toilet buildings with hot showers. In the winter the buildings are heated. Next to each toilet building there is a room for laundry and washing up. The washing machine can be used for an extra charge. There is no need for a tumble dryer as everything dries quickly in the sun.

For the children

There is a playground for the little ones with swings, slides and a small merry go round.

Sports

You can play football, volleyball, badminton and basketball on the playing field. The ping pong table is also very popular.  You can swim in the river and for the older ones, a big swinging rope hangs from a tree!

There are cosy river beaches in the nearby villages Avô en São Sebastião da Feira.

Walking, cycling, canoeing

We have two canoes with which you can explore the area around the campsite, and there are two mountain bikes for rent. Routes are available. There are three walking routes that all start and finish at the campsite.

Geocaching is becoming more and more popular. In some nearby places you can go to look for the caches. For more information go to: Geocaching.com

WiFi

There is WiFi at the bar and the part of the campsite that is closest to it. Costs: € 1,00 per day per device.

Volunteers

Every year we are looking for volunteers or trainees who can help organising activities on the campsite. No over the top animation programme, but fun sports activities in which we use what the campsite and surrounding have to offer. For example: raft building, treasure hunting, baking bread, and so on.

Place for workshops, meetings, parties and special occasions

In the Spring and Autumn the campsite is available for activities such as company meetings, trainings and workshops. Our campsite is also ideal if you are looking for a place for a party.
